Short Story Big Screen is a comprehensive filmmaking festival which is supported by film industry professionals who will be available to mentor you throughout the process in creating your film.
If you are chosen to be part of either workshop, you will learn such skills as writing for film, preparing the production, location filming and film editing
All the films made will be screened at the Arc Cinema at the National Film and Sound Archive in Canberra.
If your story is chosen, you will be invited to develop your story into a short film which will be screened at the Arc Cinema at the National Film and Sound Archive in Canberra.
Short Story Big Screen has two streams open to all level of filmmakers to tell their stories;
TRIBAL WORKSHOP - Sixteen filmmakers create sixteen films.
COLLABORATIVE WORKSHOP – Sixteen filmmakers create two films.
